Artist: Darlingside
Song: Eschaton
Genre: Indie, Folk, Pop
A four-piece band formed in Boston, MA, Darlingside tackle their blend of baroque folk pop from a bluegrass set-up, despite not playing bluegrass music. Receiving praise from NPR and Rolling Stone, the group has toured the US behind their three full-length releases, their most recent being 2016’s Whippoorwill.
Their most recent single, “Eschaton”, meaning “the end of the world”, is a bright, blippy piece of bubblegum pop. The harmonies are reminiscent of Belle & Sebastien, flowing along on a warm, breezy melody. Great music for the cool days of Fall.
