It’s December, and for me that means it’s the end of the 2017 music year (at least as far as what music I will count towards my Best Of year end lists). What it literally means is we only have one month left of new music this year, but as it’s the holidays, there are going to be some big releases.
The big one for this Friday is U2‘s latest album, Songs of Experience. While I felt their previous work was a mixed bag, I’m excited to hear this album in full. We also got some new singles from The Fratellis, Aimee Mann, New Found Glory and The Go! Team (which I’m excited to hear). Oh, and if you want some holiday music, check out DMX‘s cover of “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer”..
