A rapper from NYC by way of Moscow, Pasha Kalachev came to the United States in 1998, and his immersion into American culture and language drew him towards English literature, and eventually hip hop. At first focusing on fashion, while also dabbling in acting, Pasha maintained enthusiasm for poetry and rap and eventually let this passion lead him towards the creation of Glass Hamlet and a 3-song EP in English.
Since then, he’s released a number of singles and a full-length album. Earlier this year he released an EP, #NotYourArt, containing “Life of an Artist”. An intellectual and inspiring slice of underground rap. Pasha delivers lyrics over an eerie loop with atmospheric production, building to an empowering chorus.
