It’s very rare (in fact, it has never happened before) that our site ventures into the world of Broadway music, but in case of the new mash-up single released yesterday to raise money for the March for Our Lives Initiative, I am more than happy to put some focus on a finely crafted tune like this.
Combining “The Story of Tonight” from Hamilton with “You Will Be Found” from Dear Evan Hansen, the song is a deeply melodic and moving tribute which can easily apply to the current gun crisis and protests in our country. It’s both sad and inspiring that the kids of our country have to be the ones leading the revolt for gun safety since our politicians have done nothing, but whatever it takes, we at The Indy Review will support it!
