On her latest single, the singer carries the heavy melody across an ocean of churning guitars and a tidal wave of drums. Belting out lyrics about seeking the kind of passionate love that seems so unattainable that it can only be found in a fictional reality, the track would feel just as at home on the radio in the early 2000’s as it does today.
