In the smooth, dance-hall meets afro-beat track, Bob Em looks at the life of constantly working so many of us live, and focuses on the need to take time to enjoy the world and everything in it. The track has a carefree rhythm, with various paired-back percussions topped with light electronic touches, letting Em’s vocals take centerstage. His heartfelt delivery, especially on lines like “must take my time to enjoy my life” connect and provide a spirit-lifting chant for all.
