Since picking up the guitar at 12, Tom Webber has been on a direct path towards music stardom. His first EP won him Demo of the Year at Glastonbury 2022, and as he’s continue to develop his sound, it’s clear that award was no fluke. Just listen to his latest single, “This Time”.
While retaining elements of modern rock, and Webber’s soulful, folksy vocals, the song has a distinct retro quality that makes it stand out. Both in the garage rock melody, surfy guitars and shuffling rhythms, the track perfectly blends the old and new for memorable blast of ear candy. There’s even some fun handclaps over the bridge before the final chorus really takes off.
