Knoxville, TN’s Jac Conley is a rising rock artists who has put in the hours and miles. From playing southern soul music with his dad as a child to touring around grungy bars in the southeast, he’s been putting in the work to get his music heard, and after hearing “When It’s Over”, I can’t argue that his music deserves to hit your ears.
The track is a raucous and lively rocker. From the outset, the fuzzy guitars, sprightly bass line and excitable drums give life to the track. And Conley is a commanding vocalist, as he sings “I hope one day you find that man, who will give you all that good. Not the bad that I am” and other lines to an ex. And the lyrics strike a nerve of both maturity, wishing someone happiness even as he stands firm in his decision to leave. And the track just builds and builds to an explosive ending.
Don’t take my word for it; listen to the song in our Check This 2024 Playlist!
