This week’s New Music Friday goes hard. The new albums from The Linda Lindas, The Offspring (read my review of it here) and Touché Amoré could all get circle pits going. After listening to these, you’ll appreciate the mellow, soothing sounds of the new Dawes album to relax to.
The Cure have dropped their second new song from their upcoming new album, and it’s as powerful as the first. Less Than Jake have shared the fifth song from their upcoming EP, and Maggie Rogers has released her first new song since dropping an album earlier this year. Zebrahead and Miranda and the Beat provide some more punk energy for the list, while Taylor Acorn has enlisted Charlotte Sands for a massive new track. Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley is back with his first new music in a while, and the great Australian band King Stingray has shared another track from their next album.
Michigander, who we have been fans of for a long while, has announced his debut album and revealed its second track, and early 2000’s alt rockers American Hi-Fi are back with a new Butch Walker-produced song. Other acts returning to our list this week include Alice Costelloe, TV Pins, BoyWithUke, The Mizzerables, Venus, Crys Matthews, The Brother Stereo, sullvn, Phoneboy, The Backfires, Penny & Sparrow, Sofy, Bite Me Bambi, Brett Dennen, Anna Graves, Des Rocs, Joshua Radin, half•alive, For Closure, Ocean Alley, Chesterfield Kings, Kylee Phillips, SYML, Mt.
