As summer passes the torch over to fall, it can be nice to step into some new music. Here at the Indy Review, we have done the heavy lifting of discovery and selection so that you can bliss your ears out with some new tunes. The two mixes: Chill and Dance, give you the sonic wallpaper you need for a relaxing hang with your friends, or an upbeat party.
We draw a mix of indie, pop, and electronic to round out an eclectic mix that will please hipsters and pop girlies alike. The chill mix features new music from Sublime, deep cuts from Sabrina Carpenter’s new album Short n’ Sweet, and the delicious vocals of Teddy Swims. There are some nice covers that sprinkled in—with Blu DeTiger’s “Murder on the Dancefloor,” Lou Hayter’s “Time Out of Mind,” and Christian French’s “Meet Me At Our Spot.”

There will some artists you may be hearing for the first time: Saint Sinner (a chief vocalist featured in Tycho’s music), and My Friend Catie. And there are also some throwbacks that will make you remind you that Smash Mouth and Kid Cudi still fit the vibe.
The dance side takes on many remixes of fan favorites, as well as some new pushing originals that will get you out of your chair and up on the dance floor. “Floating on Silence” by Tour-Maubourg, and “Been a Minute” by Snakehips with EARTHGANG are two standouts. We’ve included dance mixes of some of the chill songs as well.
Please give them a listen below as we bust out the flannels for fall y’all!
