Zorin Morris isn’t a band as much as it’s a collective. Made up from musicians and collaborators around the world, the group writes and records music across various genres. One of their recent releases that caught my ear is the jangly “The One That I Love”.
With an acoustic, folk-rock melody akin to classic The Byrds music, with a dreamy harmonized chorus, the song feels like a lost gem from the 60’s or 70’s Laurel Canyon scene. Infused with a power pop warmth and breezy, love-filled lyrics, it’s a swooning throwback all can enjoy.
