Formed when childhood friends Alessandro Ambrosini and Alonso Suárez moved from Lima, Peru to Madrid, Spain, where they later met drummer Bruno Stac, Lima Shakes are fairly new to the musical world, but planning to make an impact in 2025. Taking influence from many of the pinnacles of rock music, the group dropped their debut single “One More Time” last November.
With its jangly guitar melody and peppy drums, the track feels anchored to late 60’s/early 70’s power pop. The vocals are a sunny burst of charm, with instantly appetizing melodies and snappy harmonies.
