I think we could all use a long weekend, so let’s be thankful MLK Day is on Monday. Take a breather after the insane start of the year, and stream some new music.
This week, we’re recommending the new album from UK singer-songwriter David Gray, and a surprise release from The Maine, featuring tracks they pulled from their vault from over the years. We also have the new EP from Tessa Rose Jackson.
Jason Isbell has surprised us by announcing a solo acoustic album, and shared the first track from it. There’s another new Coheed & Cambria track to build the hype for their forthcoming album, and Giovannie and the Hired Guns have shared the third track from their next LP. I’m a big fan of power-pop maestro Kurt Baker, and he’s dropped a great new track today, and Bartees Strange‘s latest continues to show why he is one of the most intriguing new artists out there. Mumford and Sons announced their new album this week and dropped a new track, and 90’s band the Spin Doctors are releasing their first album in 10 years and revealed the first taste of it.
