“You don’t care, and I don’t blame you” is an auspicious way to start a song in this day and age but Irish rock band Bannered Mare sell it well.
The track is a little softer and smoother than our typical “Bangers”, led by sweetly-sung melodic vocals, with harmonious, pop-rock hooks. As the track hits the chorus, the swelling guitars and hammering drums pump up the track into an amphitheater rocker. With the sing-along “it’s never too late” outro, it’s clear this song would sound huge in a live setting with an audience singing along.
