November Ultra is a vocalist of great ethereal power. Her operatic and angelic singing drapes gracefully over whichever lyrics and melodies come to her mind. A glance at her Spotify profile reveals no information about her, but rather a little message of love and hope that we all might have a gentle and tender year.
If you’re not chronically online, you may never have heard of her. But her song “the end.” has already garnered 8.5 million listens on Spotify, and 1.3 million watches on YouTube. Her largest following is on TikTok where November has amassed 17.5 million likes.
Take a look at the simplicity and beauty of these lyrics:
The end. “Where should I go? Cause I‘ve been everywhere But I belong nowhere But in your arms…
Give me a sign My darling let me know If I should let you go Or if I should fight?
There’s a place Inside my mind Where you and I Can dance
Endlessly You hold on to me And for the first time In a long time
I… I’m home”
With just four stanzas, November Ultra has created a majestic ballad with “the end.” In addition to her original work, she creates stunning covers of “The Winner Takes It All” by ABBA, “Till There Was You’ by The Beatles, and “Last Christmas” by Wham. In some of her songs, she blends in a lovely kind of French with her soft and tender vocalizations
Flow is a state of fluid creation. Where thought becomes reality with no hesitation or resistance. It exists in many art forms including the written word. Get into it.
