The life of a full-time musician is hard. Even harder – attempting to juggle a passion for music while working full time and being a parent. So all the more respect to St. Louis-based singer-songwriter Lo Stone. A healthcare worker and mom, Stone still finds time to record absolutely lovely songs like the recent single “Faded Into Blue”.
Gently fingerpicked acoustic guitar and mournful fiddle bathe the song in a warm glow, while Lo Stone‘s airy vocals lightly spin a melancholy song of love, loss and regret. There’s gifts of regret and nostalgia here as well, as Stone sings “Everything reminds me of the light that we once knew, faded into blue” and “didn’t mean the things I said to you”.
