Those of you who fell in love with indie rockers Wet Leg can get stoked, can the group are back with their second album. There’s more indie goodness this week as well from rock-leaning singer songwriters Petey USA, MF Tomlinson and Pat Hatt (read our review of his EP here). If you’re a fan of old school rap and hip hop, you’ll love to hear that we have a new Public Enemy album out, and it’s on our list for you. We also have the latest EP from CA garage rockers Sun Room.
Punk fans will be thrilled that they get new singles from NOFX and Strung Out this week. It’s also a great day for pop-punk fans, as Yellowcard have dropped the third song from their upcoming album, All Time Low received the second song from their next one, Simple Plan have a new one from an upcoming comp, and Goldfinger have released a new bop featuring the one-and-only Mark Hoppus. If you’re just a fan of 90’s music, then you may be happy to hear that Matchbox Twenty‘s Rob Thomas has two new solo songs out today, as do the Goo Goo Dolls. Winona Fighter have a new one from an upcoming deluxe edition of their album, and folk rockers Delta Rae are back with their first new song in two years.
After a long hiatus, from which they’ve returned more popular than ever, The Deftones are officially back with new music as heavy as you’d expect. The Hives have dropped the third banger from their next album, while Geese have shared a soulful new jam. G Flip announced her new album with a new track, and Matt Maeson continues his new era with “Downstairs”. Jay Som is joined by Jim Adkins (Jimmy Eat World) on their newest single, while Waxahatchee has brought along Kevin Morby for hers. Always happy to have new tunes from artists as diverse as Tom Morello, Brian Dunne, Ruston Kelly, Skizzy Mars, MGK, Reddy Hollow and Mammoth, as we know they’ll be good.
