This young Philadelphia trio are a back-to-basics style of band, writing catching power-pop/alt rock songs with “heart on your sleeve” style lyricism. And on just their second single, they’ve already caught my attention with their clear songwriting talent.
On the previous mentioned track “Late Dates”, inspired by “…the mindlessness of people and disillusionment of our generation,” the group are already showing a knack for the type of songwriting that would make Big Star music legends. Earnest, clear vocals paired with alt-country guitars and jamboree drumming, all put together for a mix of utter musical sweetness.
