Feeling the fall yet? The weather is still hot here in Los Angeles, as are the releases this week.
After their incredible debut album, The Last Dinner Party are back with an equally glorious sophomore album. Iceland’s Of Monsters and Men are probably used to cooler weather, so their new album will likely be perfect for the autumnal season. If you’re feeling frisky, you can frolic to some frenetic punk rock and pop punk from All Time Low, Militarie Gun and Banquets (read our review of the latter here), or enjoy the new album from soulful rocker Katie Schecter (read our review of her album here).
After 30 years, Bob Mould‘s beloved post-Hüsker Dü band Sugar has returned with a new single and new album on the way. Sam Fender is back with a new Elton John-assisted song, and Portugal. The Man have dropped a fourth song from their new album.
Bedouin Soundclash frontman Jay Malinowski is preparing to launch his latest solo album, and has a new Aimee Interrupter-assisted single out in the world. Platinum post-hardcore titans Story of the Year revealed a new album is on the way and shared a new single this week, while Haim dropped the deluxe of their last album with two more new tracks.
Other returning champions this week include Myriad, Wax Owls, Sponge, Guided by Voices, The Stray Pursuit, The Noisy, Dear Boy, Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers, Justin Webb & The Noise, The Mendozaz, Bob Schneider, Silk Cut, The Chelsea Curve, Better Joy, Tape Trash, The Helltones, Lou Salome, Westbound Train, Girl Scout, The Rogues, Carter Vail, New Constellations, Sadlands, Jean Dawson and Jesse Wells.
