It’s very appropriate that the main album out today is titled Everybody Scream. Yes, we have Florence + the Machine back with a new LP on Halloween, and it’s worth screaming about. Joining her with a new album is renowned indie rapper Aesop Rock.
To go with a new anniversary edition of Stankonia, Outkast have dropped a previously unreleased banger. Next best thing to new music from the duo! This year, I have seen Phantom Planet live three times, and today they have a new single for us. There’s new macabre punk from Alkaline Trio, and femme-powered rock from Meet Me @ The Alter. Folk rockers Medium Build and Fences bring us some autumnal new tunes, while Arkells have revealed their latest omniseasonal bop. The Modbeats already dropped a great album this year, but they aren’t finished; a new song is out this week. Jeen released two more new songs from her new EP, and Irish rockers Inhaler have returned to continue their rise.
Other returning artists this week include Drea, Boys Life, Bee Bee Sea, Ace Enders, Michelle Núñez, Gypsy Moths, John Witherspoon, Salarymen, Sikarus, Sunbendr, Humbug, Lilith Czar, Steve Geraci and Old Sea Brigade.
