New Music Friday: December 5, 2025

We’re in the homestretch for 2025. Even as holiday music is permeating the universe, there is still new albums and songs that aren’t holiday-specific coming out that should be heard.

If you listen to this playlist weekly, then you may have heard Saiphon‘s singles in the past months. Well, this week you get to hear the UK rockers’ full new album. And after starting this year with one new album, Ryan Adams (always prolific) is closing out the year with a double album. Finally, we have the latest EP from young pop-punk ingenues Meet Me @ The Altar.

Guns N’ Roses have been teasing a new album for a long time. Well, with the release of two brand new songs this week, we’re that much closer to it being a reality. We get the final three new tracks from Sam Fender‘s People Watching Deluxe edition today, and a previously lost track from the late Scott Weiland.

Alt rock band Krooked Tongue have one more single for us before the new year, while Voxtrot have come ‘fighting back’ once more before 2026. Huddy gets an assist from Pierce the Veil‘s Vic Fuentes on his fierce new single, while Mariachi El Bronx say ‘RIP Romeo” on the second single from their next LP. The Flatliners have signed to a new label, and returned with a ragged punk anthem, while the James Hunter Six are making more vintage-sounding soul.

Other acts rocking the list again this week include Devon Thompson, Payola, kennyhoopla, illuminati hotties, Sophie Gault, Death Lens, Savanna Leigh, Her Leather Jacket, Madison Margot, Local Weatherman, The Delines, The Paper Kites, Victoryland, Charlotte Sands, New Constellations, Tigers Jaw, Six Going on Seven, eevie echoes and Clinton Kane.

And there’s still time for discovery in 2025, so check out Westwell, Sunday Morning, Birthday Squirrel, Mike Van Eyes, Sarah Power, Victory Kid, Brian Gerald Bulger, Adam Klobi, The Doomstompers, Cut Flowers, Erick Sermon, Cootie Catcher, Becca Hannah, Tyler Ramsey, Emma Miller, Jacob the Horse and The Brook & The Bluff.

Follow our New Music Friday Playlist and start listening to all of this week’s new tunes.
