How have your first two weeks of 2026 been? Find any new tunes you love yet?
The new music machine is still ramping up a bit, so the only new albums we have for all of you are the gorgeous collaboration between Tyler Ramsey and Carl Broemel, some great folk rock from Langhorne Slim, and an EP by quirky alternative heroes They Might Be Giants.
After previewing it at the Ska Smackdown II, Hooray for Our Side is back with their first new song in six years. Another big scene return is Matchbook Romance, who have returned after a long absence with new music. And then there’s ANOTHER scene band striking back this week – The Academy Is… have shared their first new music in six years. And while they haven’t gone anywhere, it’s still nice to have new tracks by other Warped Tour alums like New Found Glory and Story of the Year out this week.
We’ve got the first new one from Mariachi El Bronx of the year. New school post-punkers Brigitte Calls Me Baby have the first taste of their next album out, as has Swedish folk troubadour José González. Josh Ritter dropped a new one that didn’t make the initial cut of his last album, and we’ve got two new ones from Gorillaz.
Also back this week with new tunes are Lovelytheband, Buzzcocks, Silversun Pickups, Robbie Williams, CHVRCHES, Colony House, Joy Oladokun, Michael Marcagi, The Pretty Flowers, Genevieve Hannelius, Victoryland, SOEN, Melonball, Lucid Express, Boy Golden, Pacific Avenue, Gogol Bordello, The Rubber-Necks, Crooked Fingers, Hayes Carll, MaveriX, Henry Jamison, Death of Guitar Pop, Syd Sidney, The Brook & The Bluff, Ren Genevieve, Edgehill, Krooked Kings, Mylo Bybee, Junior VP, Fast Money Music and Jacob the Horse.
