I hope you all had a great President’s Day weekend and Valentine’s Day. And now I’m wishing you a great News Music Friday!
We’ve got a lot of albums for you today. There’s the latest ones from beloved pop-punk band New Found Glory, hip-hop meets pop-punker Bryce Vine, and from mega-folk rockers Mumford & Sons. We also have new ones from some up-and-coming acts like Captain Wilberforce (read our review here), and Dominique Fils-Aime (read our review here). There were two big surprises: U2 dropped an EP of protest songs this week on Ash Wednesday, and Yungblud shared the 7-song second half to his Idols album.

Jonah Kagen is gearing up for a tour, and sharing a new song for it, and Twenty One Pilots have shared a b-side from their recent album. There’s new emo-tinged pop-punk from The Academy Is…, and folk rock from Fantastic Cat. Emo titans The Cab are making their long-awaited return with a new album (and we have the first new track),
