It’s the last Friday in September, and only three more months left in this year. This was a quieter week for releases, which can often be nice so as to allow deeper and repeat listenings to older albums. Of the new albums out this week, I’m most excited to listen to Destroyers of the Soft Life by J. Roddy Walston & the Business, who have gotten me hooked with three excellent pre-released singles. In new singles, the arrival of new music from First Aid Kit will certainly bring some lovely harmonies for the Fall weather.
