Buried at the bottom of Friday’s Coachella line-up is Mexican surf rock band Señor Kino. Formed in 2014, they went through a number of member and musical changes before arriving at their current line-up and sound.
With a sound akin to the Allah Las and FIDLAR, Señor Kino have gathered a strong following in their home country, organizing mini-festivals with other local artists. They just recently recorded their first EP, Limonada Rosa. You can watch the video for their first single “Verde Pastel” below:
