Indie rock with a synth spin, Long Beach, CA’s Bane’s World is the brainchild of Shane Blanchard, who writes and records the majority of the music. There’s a spacey vibe to BW’s music, making it perfect for a chill night in (or a slow morning in the Indio heat).
Bane’s most recent single, “You Say I’m in Love”, is filled with AM radio guitars and swooning vocals. The song could work well at a 60’s high school dance, but the intricate melodies and hazy chorus moves the track into a psychedelic territory that takes it to a higher plane.
