New Music Friday Playlist – March 1, 2019
Let’s march into March with some new tunes. In albums this week, we finally get the a new collection of original music from alt. pop rock torch bearers Weezer, as well as the long-awaited new full length album from Irish singer-songwriter Hozier.
If you’re into instrumental psych rock and crafty guitar work, check out the new album from Delicate Steve with us, and if you want something a bit more mellow, melding indie rock, acoustic and hip hop, check out the new album from Citizen Cope. If you want some sweet, old school soul, listen to the new album from Durand Jones & the Indications.
Punk band Bad Religion finally announced the release date for their next full length album, and dropped the title track for us to listen to. Indy Review favorite Dessa released a fantastic new single, as has acoustic punk songwriter Dave Hause. If you want some Cali-flavored rap, there’s a new single from Bryce Vine you’ll dig, and if you are up for something classical, famed pianist Ludovico Einaudi has a wonderful new piece to hear.
These are just the tip of the ice berg for a day overflowing with great stuff to listen to. Check them out in our NMF Playlist or down below!
