New Music Friday Playlist – September 20, 2019

One of the year’s most anticipated albums has finally arrive: the latest from SoCal pop punk kings blink-182. There’s been a big build-up, a huge marketing push (including their tour with Lil’ Wayne), and now it’s finally here to hear. Early reviews have been good, so this will be the first thing I listen to today.

That’s not to say there aren’t other albums worth your time; Alabama ShakesBrittany Howard has her first solo album out, and OasisLiam Gallagher has his second solo effort. British pop rock group Keane are back with a new one, and local soul-pop group Fitz and the Tantrums have finally dropped their new LP. Also check out the latest from another heralded local band, Jail Weddings.

In songs, Bedouin Soundclash continues to get me hyped forĀ Mass with another new track (one that wasn’t previously released last year), which drops in just a couple more weeks. Also happy to have new songs from Fitness, Allah-Las, The Menzingers, and interested to hear what Maroon 5‘s latest sounds like.

Check ’em out below, or follow the playlist above for ease.
