New Music Friday Playlist – October 11, 2019
So if not for a Super Typhoon, I would currently be getting ready to take a flight to Tokyo today. Instead, I’m here to present to you another New Music Friday.
Punk rocker-turned folk singer Tim Barry‘s new album is filled with sparse beauty, while Cursive‘s new one is sure to be brimming with noisy passion. Allah-Las‘ new record will be great for chilling on the chilly winter beaches, and Joseph Arthur‘s will be perfect for a quiet campfire.
Ruston Kelly gives us an EP of emo/pop punk covers, and Foo Fighters have dropped another surprise EP of b-sides and rarities. In singles, we get another short punk burst from Green Day, Liz Phair‘s first new single in ages, a new one from James Arthur featuring Travis Barker, and Julien Baker seems to be taunting me by releasing a new song titled “Tokyo”.
Check all of those out and more below, or make it easy on yourself and follow our NMF Playlist at the top.
