It’s a slow New Music Friday as we enter July and get ready for a very different Independence Day. Most of us will be blasting our favorite America-themed tracks, and taking a break from new music, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t some new releases worth your hearing.
We’ll be listening to the new album from former The Jam frontman Paul Weller. There are also new songs from out from Cold War Kids, Evanescence, Fontaines D.C., MC Lars, Little Slugger, Skylar Grey, Manu Chao, Low Cut Connie and Frank Turner‘s latest NOFX cover.
And just in time for the holiday, Sufjan Stevens has released the first single from his next album, a 12-minute tracked titled “America”.
