And we enter November as the final results of the Presidential election come in. For those of you who have been as anxious as I’ve been, there’s thankfully two new albums out today that should be perfect for bringing some calming vibes to you.
First, we have the latest from Canadian singer-songwriter Donovan Woods, and next we have the latest collection of lush alt. pop from Novo Amor. Both of these will be great soundtracks for your Fall. Now, some of you may want to rock out hard to rid yourself of your nerves. To help with that, System of a Down have dropped their first new songs in fifteen years to bring awareness to the war in Armenia. Anti-Flag also have a new rager with a number of features on it.
Some other notable singles out today; English songwriter Jade Bird storms back with an upbeat jam; The Bee Gees‘ Barry Gibb has a new solo single featuring Jason Isbell; Lukas Graham dropped a new crossover bop featuring Wiz Khalifa; and The Avett Brothers have a cover of Woody Guthrie’s “This Land is Your Land” to fit the election news cycle.
