Happy Friday! As the year is gearing up, album releases are still light, but we’ve got a huge drop of new singles coming in to make up for it!
The new albums we’ll be spinning this week are from English electro-punk duo Sleaford Mods and the solo project of songwriter John Ryan; John the Blind. Death Cab for Cutie have also released their Georgia EP on streamers (it was previously a Bandcamp exclusive) so we’ll be enjoying that some more.
Lana Del Rey has a stunning new song out from her upcoming new album that is definitely worth your time. Other big artists dropping new songs to preview upcoming albums this week are Foo Fighters, AFI, NOFX, Julien Baker, Tyler Shaw, Lucero and Pale Waves.
Dessa has just announced a singles series, and has the first in the upcoming project out today. Indie/emo group The Antlers are back with three new songs from their just announced new album, and we’ve also got a new one from emo band The Spill Canvas and singer-songwriter Hiss Golden Messenger. We’ll also be trying out new tracks from rising artists like the Oxymorrons, Clever Girls, Dayglow, G Flip and Marie Dahlstrom.
