Genre: Garage Rock, Punk, Power Pop
Rock n’ roll trio Crocodyle first gained steam off their 2020 single “I Feel Good”, and taking their music across the country, playing all over the U.S., the U.K. and Ireland. Keeping the heat on, the band recently released their latest EP, Sharing a Twin Bed (produced by former Cage the Elephant guitarist Lincoln Parish), which along with singles “Passenger Seat” and “Rats of the Night” includes the addictive and aptly named “Party Jam”.
A dirty guitar rhythm and frolicking drums power up the track, while vocals come in with a youthful, snide attitude (“playing rock n’ roll, with very little soul”) and self-deprecating lyrics (“we got bark but biting is rare”). It’s a crisp, hard rocking two and a half minute rave up that will definitely be a “jam” at a party, but is smart enough to elevate it to bigger arenas.
