If you’re looking for some heavier music on this New Music Friday, then you’ll be happy with the new tunes we have for you today. Starting off, we have the debut album from Mammoth WVH (Wolfgang Van Halen, son of the late Eddie), who has already shown off he has inherited some of his dad’s songwriting prowess (also, I have to shout out the awesome album art). Fans of more punk-inspired music will want to dip into the new AFI and the latest from At The Drive-In/Sparta‘s Jim Ward. 90’s alt fans are likely thrilled with the return of Garbage, who have their newest album out, and pop-punk ingenue KennyHoopla‘s latest EP is certainly full of bangers.
We’ve also got new singles from some of the best singer-songwriters out there today. Lorde, Aimee Mann, Laura Stevenson, Jack Antoff (with a new one from Bleachers), Kevin Devine, Jakob Dylan (with a new Wallflowers cut), Jose Gonzalez and Noel Gallagher. There’s also some spikier new songs from Cold War Kids, Wavves and Rare Americans.
Some of the new artists we’ll be spinning this week are SpaceFace, The Greeting Committee, Pearl & The Oysters, John R. Miller, Plexxaglass, and Kayzo.
As always, follow and listen to our New Music Friday Playlist to keep up with all these latest jams plus many more!
