Fall is on the way, and it’s bringing an eclectic mix of new music for us!
For full albums this week, we’re starting off with the new one from UK metal legends Iron Maiden. Next, alt. rock megastars Imagine Dragons have their latest one out which is likely to only add to their huge collection of platinum plaques.
In songs, we’ve got a ton of new tracks from veteran acts! This week, Swedish pop monolith ABBA announced their first album in forty years, and have released two new tracks as a preview. Sting announced a new album as well, and accompanied that with a new single. 80’s Chicago punks The Bollweevils have returned with their first new singles in years, and we’ve got ’em! Also dropping new tunes are Johnny Marr, Lindsey Buckingham, Duran Duran, the Blue Stingrays, The Psychedelic Furs and Damon Albarn.
If you want some pop-punk style tunes, New Found Glory dropped a deluxe edition of their last album with six new songs (which we’ve got for you here), and Mod Sun has teamed with the eternal Travis Barker on a new track. Folk rockers Houndmouth have another new one out, as does “galacticana” songwriter Strand of Oaks. There’s also a new one from early 00’s screamo group Hawthorne Heights!
Some of the new artists we’re adding into rotation this week are LJR, Star Rover, Glassio, Beatnik Bandits, Ruby Fields, Cashavelly Morrison and Robin Hatch.
