The weather here in Los Angeles is finally starting to cool down a smidge, but the music releases seem to just be heating up more!

I became a fan of Pixy Jones upon hearing his first single, so definitely excited to listen to his debut full length. I’m sure many of you out there are just as excited to hear the first solo album from Mumford & Sons‘ Marcus Mumford, which is out now. The Mars Volta make their triumphant return with their first new album in over a decade, and while Death Cab for Cutie haven’t been gone that long, a new album from them is always something to be stoked for. Also not waiting long to release new music is alt-pop artist Tai Verdes, who has dropped his Sophomore album today.
Friend of the site Dan Mangan released his latest song this week along with the announcement of his next album. Sunliner have another banger out, and pop-rock artist Jeffrey James is back with a new single. Braveweather are back with a solid new rocker, and Bedouin Soundclash have a ska-ish track out featuring the incomparable Aimee Interrupter. Magnolia Park keep dropping pop-punk smashes, and Dubinski have another indie crusher.

You’ll also hear the return of New Junk City, Steve Aoki feat Mod Sun, Ondara, Jawny, Futuristic and Little Hurt. Some artist we hope to introduce you to for the first time on the list this week are glimmers, Richard Tyler Epperson, Mike Ryan, Ayoni, Black Market Karma, Ruby Waters, Frances Luke Accord and Astralux.
