New Music Friday: November 18, 2022

November’s end is around the corner, so the new releases are slowing down (minus the oncoming holiday onslaught). This week, we are getting the new album from UK alt-punks Lowlife (read our review of their album here), an acoustic album from troubadour Bern Kelly, and new EPs from The Wombats and Canadian rockers The Mandevilles.

Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness has dropped his third single of the year, and the Fruit Bats are back with a new one and a tour announcement. We got another from Sarchasm‘s final album, and Fake Names have dropped the first single from their coming second album. City and Colour are back with their first new single in a number of years, and The Smashing Pumpkins have the second song from their upcoming double album to rock out to.

Some other returning champs with new songs for us today are Rare Americans, Jukebox the Ghost, Goodnight Sunrise, The National Parks, Bryce Vine, AJR, girlfriends, Peach Tree Rascals and K. Flay.

New artists chosen to be featured on the list this week are Death Valley Girls, Ruth Lyon, Maz, Tobias Arbo, Ancient Teeth, Maddox Lim, Adult Leisure, 44Blonde, Coco Bevan, Ela Ozturk, Siv Jakobsen, Nia Archives, The Sarandons and Hedvig Mollestad.

Hear all of these songs and more in our New Music Friday Playlist on Spotify or Apple Music!
