Banger of the Week: Riverside Drive – Whatever it Takes

Canada’s Riverside Drive are fairly new to their scene. The up-and-coming punk group, fronted by Josh Lowe, have mainly played shows locally, but with their latest song “Whatever it Takes”, the group should start gaining more attention from the punk world at large.

The furious guitar work and drum assault show the group going darker and harder than their earlier work, and Lowe takes his vocals to new shred territory, echoing influences like Rise Against and AFI. The gang backing vocals had extra heft to the song, definitely raising it up to true Banger status.
