It should surprise no one that German’s have an affinity for punk rock, and they aren’t so bad and making it either.
Fake Plastic carry the punk flag proudly, though they are definitely more than three-chord shouters. Their song “Pale Moon” shows off a mix of jangly melody, western atmosphere and abrasive punk choruses that can get a room moving.
There’s an essence of 70’s garage rock infused in the attitude the group, giving “Pale Moon” an electric vibe that stands out. And while the acoustic verses of the song may not scream “banger” initially, the way the track builds to a fiery conclusion, ripe with guitar solos, cement it as pure Banger material.
Fake Plastic are real musicians and a fine band. Check out “Pale Moon” in our Bangers of the Week Playlist!
