After a couple lighter release weeks, we’re back with an onslaught of must-hear albums to share with you.
On this lovely NMF, we’re recommending you spend time with the new LPs from beloved punk Laura Jane Grace, 90’s post-grunge vets Bush, indie wunderkind Alex G, indie rockers We Are Scientists (read our review of the album here), mega-hit folk rockers Lord Huron, singer-songwriter Jade Bird, and new psychedelic garage band Acapulco Lips! Boston band The Dogmatics have also dropped their first album in 39 years!
If that’s not enough for you, then we have plenty of singles for you to blast as well. Beloved 90’s reggae-rock band Sublime have their second new song with Jakob Nowell on vocals out today. Hard rock band Shinedown have shared the third song from their upcoming album, as have Hot Mulligan. Yola is back with an ‘amazing’ new single, and Curtis Harding‘s latest won’t waste your ‘time’. Fruit Bats pay homage to a lost furry friend on their new song, while King Princess is hoping you “cry, cry, cry” when you hear her new jam. There’s new folk rock from Hello Kitten Surprise, Jeff Tweedy and Josh Ritter, and another new wild track from David Byrne.
Hermanos Gutierrez have teamed with Leon Bridges for a compelling new song, while shock rocker Alice Cooper has another retro rocker for fans to headbang to. The amazing Iron Roses are back with a riotous new one, and critical faves The Last Dinner Party have announced their second album and shared a new song from it. There’s more pop-punk from Good Charlotte and Alkaline Trio, and hit-maker Zach Bryan has dropped another song which will eventually go gold (I’m sure).
