Justin Webb & The Noise have been making a lot of joyful noise this year. They’ve already released some excellent singles like “1997” and “Thief in the Night“, and today, I am excited to be able to exclusively premiere the band’s next song, “Terrestrial Radio.”
Webb says the song “…is about wanting to throw down your phone and escape with your friends or family. It’s about discovering, after some time, that some of the things we’ve cared about online don’t really matter and just serve as a distraction. It’s really a short daydream about blowing all that useless time that was spent up and inviting everyone to a huge party of human connection to burn out our frustration and scream out our love for each other. “
“Terrestrial Radio” is brimming with raw, riotous energy. It’s a punk rock spasm filled with quirky, B-52’s style rhythms and fun, call-and-response moments for perfect crowd-pleasing parties.
