Premiere: Pacific Radio – I’m Coming Over

I’ve been on the Pacific Radio bandwagon since 2017, singing the praises of their music and their live show. I was honored to have a small cameo in their music video for “Walk Away” and today, I’m proud to premiere the band’s latest single “I’m Coming Over.”

Though a little mellower than some of the band’s previous more raucous rockers, the song brims with a pensive energy that builds and builds. The band drops memorable references to Black Sabbath, and the chorus is a 70’s, hip-shaking rumpus with an addictive hook.

About the track, the band has said:

““I’m Coming Over” is a new track built around a poppy sketch from singer-songwriter Joe Robinson.

The band took the song into The Market Recording in Echo Park and worked it into a full production, adding their trademark driving drums, guitars, and swagger while keeping the core of what made the demo grab their attention in the first place. Guest vocalist Lila Forde appears on the track’s hook and chorus, and producer Pete Recine came on board to put on some finishing touches, including a rare appearance by a banjo in the Pacific Radio universe.”

Be the first to hear it below, before it goes live everywhere tomorrow, May 8th.
