New Music Friday: July 17, 2026

Back again with more music goodness for the weekend.

Starting off we have the new album from multitalented, genre-bending artist Steve Lacy. Next, the latest from one of the best punk-leaning groups of the 00’s, The Menzingers (read our review here). And then, a real interesting one from indie rock group Mock Media (read our review of it here).

Brandon Flowers takes on “Paradise,” and Slightly Stoopid have recruited Wiz Khalifa and G. Love for their latest summer jam. 80’s post-punk lifers Echo & the Bunnymen are back with their first new single in 12 years, and SoCal rockers Sun Room begin their new era with a totally NOT ‘Insincere’ new song. Queens of the Stone Age are taking us down to ‘Easy Street’ while Beck is going deep ‘In the Night’. Some of the biggest new names in alternative rock, Dexter and the Moonrocks and In Color, both have new songs out this week, as does the ever-popular Beabadoobee.

Satanic husband & wife duo Twin Temple made some headlines recently, and what better time to drop a new single. Hard rockers Mastodon get help from Josh Homme on their latest single, while Cold War Kids show some ‘Loyalty.’ As some of you have seen, we expanded recently to start Indy Review Records, focusing on finding lost music from yesteryear to give a proper digital release for. Well, for the first band we released, This End Up, we have a never-before-released single recorded shortly before they called it a day.

If you frequent our list, you will be familiar with some of these other great artists with new music out today; Sawyer Hill, Lukas Graham, Maddie Zahm, Elizabeth Cook, Lisa Molinaro, Twin City, Radkey, Kam Franklin, Catie Turner, Syd Sidney, Brother Bird, Zebrahead, Sweeping Promises, Petey USA, Time Spent Driving, seeTrees, Surfing for Daisy, Jacob & the Dazey Chain, Babe Rainbow, Hound, Cinnamon Gum, Resa Saffa Park, Some Velvet Morning, Strange Plants, Banda AL9, CR & the White Lights, Josaleigh Pollett, Hovvdy, John R. Miller, Joseph Arthur, Quicksand, Suki Waterhouse, Matt Berninger, Leon Bridges and Aaron Lee Tasjan.
