And now it’s November. Two months left in the year, and the holiday season is fast approaching. This may be why there are so many new albums out today – everyone wants to get theirs in before people want nothing but holiday music.
And there’s certainly an interesting mix of tunes out today. Southern rockers Kings of Leon have their latest album out, not long after their last one. One of my favorite new bands, New Junk City, shared their second album (read our review of it here), and fellow “orgcore” band Spanish Love Songs join them with a new album. 80’s Australian rockers The Church are still going strong (read our review of their new album here), and Seun Kuti is keeping his family’s legacy alive and thriving. Hard rock duo Girl Tones are leveling up on their latest album, making a lot of noise with a lot of hooks. Teenage Wrist are back with a new EP, and finally Americana ingenue Sam Barber shared a new EP in fire up fans for his upcoming tour.
Sam Fender has shared his take on a Rolling Stones‘ classic, and Arkells have dropped one more anthemic bop. Cage the Elephant announced the release of their next album with the drop of it’s third single, and Ryan Adams shared a wry new track to announce his next LP. We’ve got a second smash from The Interrupters next record, and Good Charlotte have one more new song to go with the re-release of the Madden Brothers 2014 album. Break-out folk rockers Buffalo Traffic Jam just released their debut album a few months ago, and they’re already back with new music,
