David Ryan Harris has had a long and eclectic musical career. He’s fronted hard rock bands (Follow for Now, Brand New Immortals), been a producer and session guitarist for artists such as John Mayer, Santana, and Nick Jonas, and he has held down a solo career throughout most of his time as a working musician. In June, Harris released his latest solo album, Songs for Other People.
Seven acoustic-driven tracks utilizing Harris’ silky, soulful voice, the album has a number of strong tracks (I also recommend “Coldplay“), but the song that has stood out most to me is “Good”. A polished, pop rock number with a breezy chorus, “Good” exudes a positive energy that will definitely make you feel good.
