New Music Friday

First Friday of April! Today we get the new albums from Hop Along (whose previous album was one of our Top 10 of 2015), as well as the bands Rainbow Kitten Surprise and Death by Unga Bunga (two groups with awesome names that we’ve recently highlighted on this site). There’s also the EP from Alice Merton containing her hit single “No Roots”.

For new songs, we have the first single from the recently reunited The Get Up Kids, a solid piece of rap storytelling from Skizzy Mars, a new single from friend of the site Matthew Ryan‘s new project The Summer Kills, as well as singles from Ben Howard, Willie Nelson, John Legend, Bombino, Dispatch, Dr. Dog and yes, I’ll even be trying out the new one from Kenny Chesney.

Don’t worry – we aren’t going country over here, but it’s good to keep things mixed up.

Enjoy your listenings.
