Friday returns, and it brings us a new album from Lit. Best known as the crunchy alt. rock band behind “Miserable” and “My Own Worst Enemy”, the group has gone in a country-ish direction I’m admittedly still skeptical about. But, I will give it a shot, because A Place in the Sun has a special place in my heart. I’ll also sample the new album from Americana group Cordovas.
In songs, the trio of Labrinth, Sia and Diplo (LSD) have finally released a single I’m digging. We have two new songs from Bedouin Soundclash that are mash-ups with hardcore legends Bad Brains tracks, Pete Yorn covering the Pixies with Liz Phair, and then we get some new songs from Minnesota rapper Atmosphere, macabre punks Alkaline Trio, folks blues singer/songwriter Elle King, country rocker Ruston Kelly, and Toto‘s cover of Weezer‘s “Hash Pipe”.
Enjoy them all below.
