New Music Friday – October 12, 2018

kurt-vile-bottle-it-in

Another heavy release Friday! The latest album from indie guitar god Kurt Vile will be an epically chill affair, while the guest-star heavy concept album from mainstream guitar god Tom Morello will be a test of the musician’s lofty ambitions. Famed songwriter Elvis Costello has his first new album with his band The Imposters in many ages out, and Four Fists, the collaboration between P.O.S. and Astronautalis, have dropped their full length.

Pop punkers MxPx released a surprise EP, hot on the heels of their recent new album, and I’ll also be sampling the 3 song sampler from new Hellcat records signee Rat Boy.

In songs, we songs running the gamut, from Run the Jewels to Reel Big Fish. Deer Tick to Willie Nelson to LP. Sia to GospelbeacH to FIDLAR. You’ll find something worth checking out.
