“Old Dead Young” is a great rock song from long time indie rock collective The Broken Social Scene. After returning last year with Hug of Thunder, this single continues a strong return to the indie scene.
It’s noisy and jangly with a feel good melody making it a great party mix song. And it’s filled to the gills with harmonies, a flute, some horns, and joyous rock guitars. Broken Social Scene’s ever rotating line-up currently consists of 15 people and it sounds like they all got involved on this one.
