New Music Friday Playlist – March 15, 2019
Mid-way through March, and here’s the music we got. The only album we’ll be spinning this week is the new collaboration from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs‘ Karen O and Danger Mouse. We’ll also be checking out the new EP from the Bouncing Souls, as the New Jersey punks celebrate their 30th anniversary.
The most exciting news for us this week was Bedouin Soundclash‘s announcement that their new album MASS will be coming out October 4th. To get the ball rolling on it, they have released back online “Clockwork”. Released earlier last year, the song’s been rearranged and is sounding great!
Also out this week is another new one from British songstress Jade Bird, who is currently on tour with Hozier. The Head and the Heart are back with a new single, there’s a Paul Westerberg cover from Beach Slang, and MC Lars has dropped a Watchmen-inspired single.
Get your hip hop fix from Open Mike Eagle and Yelawolf, some indie rock from We Are Scientists, some hair metal from Whitesnake, and jazz from the Preservation Hall Jazz Band. All this and more below, or in our New Music Friday Playlist.
